Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to be crazy. We were planning to stay here in Arizona, since we went to Henderson last year and Jacob had class until 10 pm the night before Thanksgiving. But then all of his siblings were going to be there and they decided to do Thanksgiving and Christmas together (Christgiving) and we gave into peer pressure.

So we spent Thanksgiving with the Hadley family, enjoying a wonderful meal, and then got in the car and drove 6 hours to do it all again with the Becksteads!

They were kind and moved Thanksgiving to Friday for us so we could be there!

Friday morning we worked on crafts that Grandma Dar got for everyone. The kids had lots of fun for as long as their attention spans lasted and then Mom and Dad had fun finishing it.

It turned out pretty cute!

William is such a homebody and has a hard time with being away from home. He also really doesn't like meeting new people (or people he hasn't seen in over a month). So he always has a rough time, but he did have lots of fun playing football with his cousins! Throwing a ball seems to be the way to this kid's heart.

On Saturday we all had Christmas together and exchanged our cousin and sibling gifts! William again had a rough time, waiting your turn in not fun. So, he got a present early to appease him.

Minions are definitely another way to his heart. He is a little bit obsessed.

Emily got spoiled with her first American Girl doll. She got Emily, who I apparently don't have a picture of. She is completely in love.

Edward got almost every super hero know to man. He got a Batcave with Batman and Robin and almost every character from his favorite show, Super Hero Squad.

William was in heaven with lots of minions and books! He loves to sit and look at books and be read to!

After that we headed to Ethel M's to look at the lights, which was fun, especially since we went late enough that the crowd had died down.

It was a fun Thanksgiving, crazy, but fun!
