Ward Campout

Last weekend was our ward camp out. Despite my incredibly terrible packing job, we had a really good time! It really was a terrible packing job. Some things, like jackets and extra blankets, I thought about packing and never did it. Other things, like pillows and lunch, never even crossed my mind. Fortunately, I remembered everything William needed and Walmart helped the rest of us out with some new jackets.

S'mores were definitely a highlight of the weekend. Emily was very upset on the way home because she wanted another one.

Both kids had tons of fun playing with all their friends. Eddie also loved the number of balls that were available for him to play with. I think he loved having other kids to play with and being able to play something other than princesses for a change. He played football with Henry and Ava for quite a while and it was pretty hilarious to watch! Who knew that the nursery kids would be so excited about football.

The group playing baseball was also nice enough to include Eddie and help him play! He was in heaven.

They also played with Kylie for a good hour. She was a good sport to play tag and hide and seek with them for so long!

William did great on his first camping experience. He slept through the night (unlike his siblings) and even took his normal nap the next morning! He had a few minutes of freak out at breakfast when it was too noisy for his taste, but other than that he was his normal happy-go-lucky self!
