For Christmas this year, my parents gave me play tickets! YAY! It has been so long since I have seen a play and I have missed it.
Jacob and I went to see 'The Hit' at Hale Theater on Saturday night. First of all, I loved just having a night out! My mom even came to our house to babysit so I didn't have to pack the kids up at all. It was so strange to leave the house without finding millions of little shoes, packing the diaper bag and buckling kids into car seats.
The play itself was wonderful. It was very funny and very well done. The play is set inside an antique shop and two actors played all the different customers who came into the stop. They were hilarious and one of the best parts of the whole thing.
We wanted to go out to dessert afterwards, but Liberty Market was closed and we didn't want to sit down and wait for something. So, we stopped at Walmart on our way home and got some dessert!
Hooray for date night!

And hooray for plays! I love live theater. I'd go everyday if I could.
And thank you for inspiring me, I decided this year's new years resolution was more date nights. We're still getting into the swing of things, but we're doing pretty good! :)
I am glad you enjoyed the play and the night out:)
