In Order

I need to take lessons from my daughter. She has decided recently that her bedroom needs to be "in order" before she goes to bed. I wish I felt that desire. It's amazing that a mess that would take an hour to clean up at chore time takes 2 minutes at bedtime! I don't know how long this will last, but I will take it!

And then there's Eddie.

He hasn't been feeling so well the past few days. Storms always cause problems with his asthma and he's been running a fever on top of it. So, on Friday I decided that he needed to 'stay home' from preschool. Which is hard when preschool is at home. I stuck him in my room with snacks, coloring supplies, toys, puzzles (one of his favorite things) and the iPod filled with movies. This is what I found when preschool was over. This is just one corner, the rest of the room looked about the same.

He 'stayed home' from preschool again today, by choice, but he is feeling much better. The fever is gone and the asthma is back under control.

Last week in preschool we learned about the letter Q. Apparently that is Emily's favorite letter. She was really excited about it all week. Here is her letter q that she made while they were playing the other day!

And of course, Eddie wanted to show off what he made too.

And....he's still adorable! I love his two cute teeth. He is just about crawling and just today started trying to pull himself up on the coffee table. Oh boy.
