Do You Want To Build A Snowman?

Yes. The answer is yes. They did want to build a snowman. However, the snow was far too icy for that to be an option.

While we were in Henderson we drove up to Mt. Charleston to play in the snow. It was very interesting finding snow clothes for all us desert dwellers. There wasn't much snow to actually 'play' in, but we did get to go sledding!

The kids were very unsure about the whole thing at first. Eddie very quickly got the hang of it and was having a blast.

Emily was less confident and after going a few times with an adult, she wasn't sure she wanted to do it at all anymore.

But all of a sudden she decided to be brave and went down by herself a couple times!

William did not think we were very funny and I'm pretty sure he was questioning our sanity for going to such a cold place on purpose. The poor kid was miserable the whole time. He was only marginally ok if he was being held very tightly and not touching any snow. I guess being born in the desert does make a difference.

There was much crashing and it's probably a miracle that there were no injuries, but we came away unscathed and had tons of fun!

And this has nothing to do with sledding, but they're just such cute kids.
