4 year old!

In some ways I can't believe that Eddie is already 4, in other ways, I feel like he's a lot older than he actually is. He and Emily are the best of friends and I think he learns a lot from her and acts more her age than his own.

With trips to Henderson frequently happening over his birthday, he often gets spoiled with two birthdays! It happened again this year. We had a party with the Hadley family the Saturday before his birthday.

He chose homemade pizza for his dinner

He got some of his favorite things from Grandma, a Llama, Llama book and more super heros!

From Mom and Dad he got a bike helmet,

and then Dad brought in a bike to go with it!

William's a big fan of the bike too.

He got a second birthday party on his actual birthday. He started out the day by sleeping until 9:30, later than he has ever slept in his life. He then requested ham and cheese waffles and sausage for breakfast. By the time everyone was ready for the day and we got it cooked, it was more like lunch time.

For his dinner he requested hot dogs. Grandma Dar made it extra awesome by letting them roast hot dogs over the fire.

I tried to get a picture of Eddie watching Grandpa start the fire and this is what I got.

He got spoiled again by even more super heroes!

Emily drew him a picture of Captain America's shield for his birthday.

Aunt Rachel got the best gift of the evening award with a remote control car. He was in heaven.

William thought the box from the car was a pretty cool toy.

His birthday cake was a surprise, so this is his waiting face!

It was fun to celebrate Eddie! We are pretty lucky to have him in our family. He is (generally) cheerful and helpful and just such a good kid. He is super smart and is learning quickly from the things his sister tells him about from kindergarten. He loves puzzles and games and is a tiny bit obsessed with super heroes.
