First Day of School

We have a kindergartner! It's so weird. I do not feel old enough for this. But isn't she so cute?

She started kindergarten at Meridian Elementary on August 7th. She is in Mrs. Green's class and she is loving it. She has a friend from primary and a friend from preschool in her class. It was nice to be able to start the year out with a few familiar faces!

She was even super brave and didn't cry when it was time for Mom and Dad to leave!

She says her favorite part of school is when Mrs. Green lets Patchy (the class bunny) hop around the class.

Edward's first (official) day of preschool was today! He is already so smart that it scares me a little bit. I'm pretty sure he's going to be bored out of his mind after 2 more years of preschool. Today we colored our names. Edward colored very meticulously inside the lines until he realized no one else was. At which point he did one little scribble, and then went back to his careful coloring.

His favorite part of preschool is getting stickers!

This kid has officially started terrorizing the preschoolers. He still sleeps through preschool most days, but some days he stays awake to sit in the kids' chairs and steal their crayons as soon as they get up.
