Adventures in Childrearing
If any of you look at the time stamp on this post, no, you're not mistaken. It is actually almost 2 in the morning. We have had quite the adventure this evening. Emily decided that she was hungry around midnight. So, Clarissa fed her and then started to change her diaper. Unfortunately, she was being changed on our bed.... We have decided that our daughter is morally opposed to going to the bathroom in her diaper, because promptly after Clarissa removed her diaper to change it, she let loose all over the place. I know that sounds graphic, and to those of you with weak stomachs I apologize. Emily managed to get it all over her clothes, her mother's clothes, the sheets, a pillowcase, and managed to miss the towel like cloth she was on and have it seep through to the mattress. Thankfully, the mattress is clean and not further damage was done. Lesson learned: Do not change a baby's diaper on a surface you plan to lay on. We'll write again soon.

oh fun fun! The joys of little children! I hope you guys are doing well and getting a little bit of sleep when you can!
that is so gross! that just about eliminates any desire for my own child (just kidding!).
oh man, that is the worst. We learned that lesson too. Now we always have the clean diaper under Natalie and then we take the dirty one off! :)
