So, as of 12:25 PM Mountain Daylight Time, on March 31, 2008, the family of Jacob & Clarissa Beckstead is no longer 2, but 3. Emily Amelia Beckstead made her entrance into the world 10 days earlier than expected, but at the exact right time for her mommy and daddy. She weighs in at 7 lbs 9 ozs and measures 19 inches long. She has lots of hair already; dark brown, curly hair. An unexpected surprise was that Clarissa's OB/GYN, who we thought was out of the office on Mondays, is actually at American Fork Hospital in the OR. So, he was able to come up between cases and deliver our new little bundle of joy. Everyone is doing well. Mom and baby are healing quickly from the trauma of delivery. If you'd like to come visit us, we are going to be at American Fork Hospital til about noon on Wednesday. Just give one of us a call.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! Emily Amelia is such a great name. ;) She is beautiful. Be sure to post more pics when you get a chance.

Congrats! I love the name! I just read your post about how she kicked you for hours and hours. Get excited, because if she's like my little girl then she'll be like that outside of the womb too- Natalie kicked me all the time, and she's still doing it. Congrats again! Can't wait to see more pictures!
